One day, the door swung open, and in tumbled a well known Danish chef. He tasted his way through some of the incredible fermented honey we have in our back room, and tumbled out again carrying a bucket of a particularly delicious batch.

It later turned out that he was friends with Andreas Mortensen, the danish astronaut. Part of the NASA protocol is that each astronaut is allowed to bring snacks from his or her home country … sausage for the germans, marmite for the brits, hershey bars for the yanks. Our chef friend was given the honor of preparing something for Andreas Mortensen. 

It became a package of muesli bars … baked with Bybi honey from Copenhagen. Perhaps that honey came from a flower you planted yourself?
